Our prepress department can create 1200, 2400, or 3600 dpi outputs from your Mac or PC file. We also offer electronic stripping, reflective/transparency color and black & white scanning, and full color proofing.

• EPS (Provide HiRes files only) please specify otherwise

  (Do not use embedded graphics, PICT, BMP, GIF or JPEG compressed images)

FILE/DISK PREP CHECKLIST:

• Include all files on disk that were used to create the Quark or
  InDesign files.
• Include all image files embedded in Illustrator or Freehand files.
• All Adobe Photoshop files must be saved in EPS or TIFF, binary, single-file format.
• HiRes images must be saved in CMYK, bitmap or grayscale format, not RGB or indexed color.
• All PostScript screen and printer fonts must be included on the disk.
• Include all fonts for Illustrator and Freehand.
• Process colors and PMS colors must be specified in application color palettes.
• Delete any unused/unwanted colors.
• Do not use “hairline” rules, must be .25 pt. or higher
• Do not trap application files.
• Bleed any necessary pages with customary 1/8” bleeds.
• Quark and InDesign document sizes must equal final trim size.
• Enclose a low res pdf or hard copy print out of the complete file.
  
  (We do not accept Microsoft Word, Publisher or Powerpoint. These files will have to be converted
  to pdf format before being submitted)

• You must have ftp software in order to upload to the HARRIS ftp site (eg. Fetch). You will not be able to connect using Internet Explorer, Safari or any other internet provider. If you do not have ftp software, please go to www.yousendit.com and follow the instructions. The files must be stuffed or zipped in order to send via yousendit.com. When entering recipient email address, please send to prepress@harrislitho.com. Please do not close transmission window until the file has been fully uploaded.
• Before uploading, please be sure the folder is stuffed or zipped.
  
• Please include a pdf file with printing instructions and contact information.
  
• Please provide a low resolution pdf with fonts and images embedded for file comparison.
